Class description
You can acquire the skills to craft a delicate knotless netted spiral pattern with beads on a small ornament gourd. This technique will empower you to comprehend and create additional patterns in the future.

The instructor will supply a small pre-finished gourd, 4 ply waxed linen/waxed cotton, Size 3-0 beads. See below for the supplies you need to bring with you.

This class is best for intermediate and advanced weavers.

You should be able to finish the project if you have adequate prior experience with basic knotless netting technique. If not, completing the project at home would be easy and not require any special tools. If you have questions about whether your experience is adequate for this class, email Jeannie at a76betty@yahoo.com.

What you are required to bring
Small sharp scissors

Optional: A prefinished small gourd, 4ply waxed linen, size 3/0 or 6/0 beads, big-eye bead needle, heat tool, needle threader.
Note: Bringing your own supplies is not necessary to learn these techniques, but if you're like me, you may want more options to add your own flavor to your project :-)

About the Instructor
I've been a member of Calabash Club & California Gourd Society for almost 10 years. During that time, I've learned several gourd art techniques, but I have an affinity and enjoy getting creative with Knotless Netting! A technique that I am very grateful to have learned from Kennie Winter!
