About the instructor

Janice's journey into art began late in life, but with a BAM! when she encountered her first gourd, a Mayan drum. Her interest grew in this odd, dried plant. Initially self-taught, Janice has continually added to her skills and knowledge by seeking out classes from some of the best in the field of both gourd art and other mediums. The composite of all these experiences is evident in her unique vision and attention to detail.
